I appreciate all the information fellas. It's greatly appreciated. I guess my main concern is maintaining my warranty, id much rather be able to do all the work myself. even the tunning with a PV or PCV I just don't want it to screw with my warranty.

That's why I spent the extra money for the dealer to do it. My 14 wg sounds and runs strong. I have the life of cycle warranty and if I have any mechanical upgrades and have a authorised hd dealer do it no matter what happens to my bike it's covered under warranty as long as I own the bike
i did it myself got the short shots from jp cycles and a power vision tuner from fuel motto and since on a budget and fancy a/c wasnt that important i went with fuel moto stage 1 a/c for 50 bucks did it all for bout 900 bucks
save ur money and do it yourself if i can do it u can
Do the work yourself. On my 2011 WG, I did the Screaming Eagle Slipons, (Still have them in a box) then went with the V&H Pro Pipe, VO2 A/C and Fuel Pak. Installed myself and used the map provided by V&H. Ran like a charm. I didn't plan on any cams or other upgrades, so the setup worked great for me. Sound was awesome and it got up and ran great.

Short shots suck for performance. But they sound pretty good. Get a used pair off ebay or the forums. Install urself only 2 bolts to take off one gasket tp replace. Per pipe.very easy to do and saves a ton on labor. Remember to torque to specification. Could porbably reuse gasket because the bike is so new.
Arlen ness big sucker runs about 130 bucks. Also very easy to install
When ur done have it dyno tuned and ull be dialed in. Plus harley come from the factory suffocating and with thr stage one itll open her up and ull have much better feel
Thanks for the information. After doing a lot of research yesterday, it seems the warranty wont be affected unless it is a direct result of the tuner that something messed up. So I will most likely do It all myself. Looks like I will go with the short shots, arlen ness big sucker A/C, and the PV2 tuner, all for around 970. So that seems a lot more realistic. So after this and new seats and back rests for the wife, im looking right at 2 grand. not too bad.
I don't know anything about these pipes really but this is member "Robbyville" after he just installed a robust cam. This is after a good tune and for what's behind the cam it sounds great at idle
Just another possibility for you. Robby makes that pipe sound good
With a Samson exhaust, DK air cleaner and a FL-vied, and doing the wrenching myself costs me around $1000 and my bike runs great and looks badass..haha
