06 FXDI-Converting to Console Speedo and Ignition
I have an 06 FXDI with the handlebar mounted speedo and frame mounted ignition switch. I am considering converting to the console mounted configuration to allow for a fairing I am interested in. Has anyone done this? Problems, issues? I see used non-FXDI consoles out there for sale. What would a total required parts list look like? Thanks.

Looks like I need a Street Bob, Wide Glide or Low-Rider tank for starters, right? Are those year specific? I have an 06 FXDI so it needs be with Fuel Injection. Good place for used tanks?

I Have a 2010 FXD Superglide and did the exact tank swap to a Street Bob tank and dash console. Wasn't overly difficult, the tank being the most expensive piece. Here is a quick list of the majority of the parts needed.
