Default Oil drain plug removal

2013 Switchback. 103ci What tool do you use to remove the oil drain plug? It is a set screw type of drain plug.
It is blocked by the crossmember. I cut down a torx socket and tried. Cannot get a good bite and it is in there extremely tight

Any help?

Should be a 5/8" plug. And unless the switchback frame is different from the other dynas it shouldn't be blocked by a crossmember. You sure your on the right plug?

Wonder what is different about that bike's frame compared to a 13 SuperGlide? I just use a standard 6 point socket. With out running down the the barn and looking i think it is 5/8'ths. But what ever size a socket works great here.

You certainly don't want to remove the Flux Capacitor by mistake.
