A bigger tb will help primarily in the higher rpms where the air demand is so high. A stock tb with bigger injecters will still produce the big tq # but might limit your max hp by a few ponies. I think a bored out stock tb is a good option to considered for the $:
Thanks for the recommendations, I will check into it. I am not too concerned about a few extra hp, they usually don't mean too much to the butt dyno, to me the torque is what you feel but if it's cost effective then I'll likely go for it.
Sounds exciting I'll be following along! Like pilot said, maybe look into having you stock tb bored out. I've heard nothing but great things about Dan Vance's tb's
[QUOTE=Northern B;13649996]The whole bottom end is getting done, crank, bearings, etc. Rev performance heads & 107 bb kit, Tman 590 cams, throttle body, 30 tooth trans pulley.
which Revolution heads are u going with? and with that tman 590 cams, It suggest 10.5-10.8:1. Imho I would have it closer to 10.8:1 it will hit harder down in the lower rpms. and you want to know what size those intake ports are on the revolution heads so the throttle body and intake ports match. the best bang for the buck is the SE 50mm throttle body comes complete and has the 4.9 injectors and the port opening is 1.750'' can be found for around $325.00 personal that is the way to go VS over having the stock tb bored.
