What extras did you have to buy to mount that bar?
Looks like the detachable docking hardware kit $69.95, signal relocation kit 109.95 and then license plate relocation kit 134.95? So add another 314.85 on top of the sissy bar?
Could you run the bar without buying the license plate relo kit?

yes, you can run without the licence relo kit.
i was already doing the saddlebags so i had to do the license relo, so the turn relo kit and the docking kit for the sissy bars and you should be set, you can always go for custom turn/plate relo for much cheaper.
i was able to roll it into the price of the BOB and got it all for below dealer cost. and after i bought the bike and it was delivered from out of state i put it all on.
2011 FXDB with quick detatch. Bought the turn signal relo, and the docking kit from ebay seller beosaid for $35 and $34. Becareful with the bolt struts though, they are really easy to snap if you apply any pressure that isnt straight on. So any downward, or upward when you are screwing them in, and snap. Should take you about an hour to do all the wiring. Quick tip, when unbolting your fender, do the front bolts first, before trying to do the back. It makes it a helluva lot easier.

Looks good. I like the plate below the taillight a lot better. I'm thinking about doing something like that plate mount with mine. I do have a different taillight, but I don't think it will be difficult to do.
