T has been brought to my attention that my O2 sensors may have been put back on the pipe wrong and maybe why my powervision won't autotune. Can someone either take a look at their O2 sensors for me or let me know which ones definitively go where. My bike is a 06 Dyna superglide. This is how my O2 sensors are currently installed
Rear
Front: blue and gray wires from O2 sensor
Rear: blue wire with a gray/black wire from O2 sensor
My nasal shows the same for both front and rear O2 sensors
On my 07 FXDB the rear O2 sensor plugs into the black connector under the seat, the front sensor plugs into an extension harness behind the voltage regulator that runs up to the gray connector under the seat.
Both sensors have the same color wiring from the sensor to the connector.
The gray connector has the pink/green and black/white wires.
The black connector has the pink/orange and black/white wires.
Thx. I know where they plug in but what I don't know is what color wires come from each O2 sensor front/back. Mine has two different wire combinations leading from the sensor which tells me one is specifically for the front and one is specifically for the back
There is no specific sensor for the front or back. When you replace the sensors you buy two identical sensors and put one in the front and one in the back. As long as the gray connector is connected to the rear O2 sensor and the black connector goes to the extension harness to the front sensor, you are good.
Maybe someone replaced one of your sensors with a newer model sensor that has different colored wires.

Actually upon further inspection both O2 sensors have gray/black wires and blue wires. Both of my plugs are black with no difference. Any other ideas and they weren't switched to a new style one because then they would be different sizes

Since both connectors are black on the bike then I would say the connector with the pink/green wire is the rear cylinder and the connector with the pink/orange wire is the front cylinder.
