Help / Advice for purchasing Batwing for FXDC
Hi, all, I've scoured the forum with regards to this age old issue, dated as far back as 2012.
But I still cant't get my answers. Wrote to tsukayu etc and response was as good as not responding.
Thus need advise from seniors here.
My set up;
2011 FXDC with 12" ape hanger, and 7" headlight.
I want to purchase a batwing with radio n Sspeakers. Thus memphis is out.
Can I purchase a batwing for road king, and have it fit n my fxdc?

I have the 7" Headlight & hence went with this model. The Dyna specific model is for stock headlight.
I use the HD Quick Release clamps from the windshield & switch back to windshield when needed.
OK. So now on to the issues that you might face and how to deal with them.
1st, you may require the HD curved risers. They bend towards the tank and make space for the fairing. I already had them and so did not face the problem. Also if you go in for a different model, you may not need them.
2nd. You will need to cut the mounting brackets that come with the fairing. I did it using a dremel and then drill holes in them to mount the quick release clamps. Another alternative is to use fork clamps and the mounting hardware of Harley Touring / Roadking and in that case you can use the trigger lock mechanism of the supplied mounting brackets of the fairing.
3rd. Hope you do not have Aux lights. If you do, they will come in the way. I have got extension fabricated so that they sit proper. Till I did not have the extensions, the aux lights were off the bike.

Just when i thought all hope lost, surprisingly, tsukayu responded and were willing to discuss further on how to make things happen. (their 1st 2 emails were very "rejecting" as zerothoughts mentioned), after i sent them a third email sounding eager, yet pissed. hahaha.
Once things are confirmed and works out... I'll let all know the outcome.
HANG ON bros with 7" headlights... there is now hope.

Final Update!
Tsukayu is willing to help me out with my 7" headlight issue!!!
They are able to customised the small bat wing (for fxdc) and change the headlight opening to fit a 7" headlight!
I AM SO HAPPY!
Therefore, nothing else needed to be done and its a plug, install and play, as per stated in their website.
Will post pics once I receive the small batwing

it's probably too late but just in case...
save yourself some money...the stereo and speakers they use are complete garbage. get yourself a decent marine deck and polk marines and order the fairing without theirs
