Just recieved my Vibra Technics today. Cant wait to put it on. I will be removing my front tubes and sending them to Mach Modified for some new suspension as well
Enjoy! I did mine this past week as well. Pretty easy procedure with the exception of jacking up the front of the engine while the bike was on the main jack, just didn't have enough room with the Sears Red jack that I used. So when it came to putting the lower piece on and aligning the center screw I had to lower the bike, put it on the jiffy stand, put my car's scissor lift under the engine to do the alignment, took about 5 minutes.
Another tip is prior to final tightening of the center bolt the bike has to be upright with weight on it both to pull back the engine as well as to allow the stabilizer to find it's natural center so having a second set of hands to either sit on the bike or be the one torquing the bolt is handy. In my case I sat on the bike and leaned down to tighten it fairly well hoping that the stabilizer would be where it needed to be, then hopped off and did the final 37ft lbs from the side. If you watch TomT's great video on the installation that part is not in there but he does mention this in other threads.
They shipped FedEx to me, took less than a week. Maybe they're doing a production run? Give them a call, from all accounts they are responsive and have excellent customer service.
How long did it take to get yours? I ordered one almost two weeks ago, only got an order/ Payment recieved notice
Mine took a couple of weeks, they were out of stock when I ordered and waiting on more to be produced. Shoot them an email, they'll likely respond right away, they did with me.
