IMO only pro is looks if that's what you're after. I lifted mine and put it right back down since I didn't really care for the look on my style of bike. Cons, your gauge will be off depending on how high you lift it (if front only) will depend on how far it'll be off. My Gauge is inaccurate as hell anyways so that wasn't really a deal breaker one way or the other anyhow.
Had thought about crossover line but not about electrical...thanks...gonna check that out...from what I know it shows rocker boxes better and you can get your hand in up there to clean them better..but I dont see it as a necessity, just pondering looks..
I got a 2" tank lift from DK Customs for my WG and think it looks great. It is purely looks and great for the lines of a Dyna especially a wide glide. However, there is no benefit from the lift other than cleaning the heads and messing your gas gauge more than it is.
