So I swapped in the tri bar led tail light and when I turned everything on it worked except when I use the brake, it doesn't get any brighter. Neither the hand brake or foot brake. I then unplugged the tri bar and put the stocker back on and same thing. I'm not sure what's going on... Can anyone help? Thanks.
Mine came with a separate harness that you needed to use to make the brakes lights work. What brand light did you buy? Custom Dynamics comes with the harness I think some others you have to buy it separately.
Just wanted to update everyone with the situation... So upon installing the tri-bar tail light I over tightened the screw that holds the chip board in the tail light and it cracked the brake light part. It was so small I didn't even notice it, my brother was looking at it and noticed it.
So I ran over to the dealer and got a new board, it was about $27, not to bad but it was my own dumb mistake. Threw that in and everything is fixed up now. Tri bar light looks so much better! Thanks for all the advice everyone.
But you said you had re-installed the OEM light and it didn't work either.
