Wish I could take credit for the curled up USB cord, but I got the idea from the forums when I was browsing around BEFORE I got the PCIII delivered.
I don't mess with the PCIII much, so I didn't set it up for the "non-removable seat setup" (cord hidden for easy access). Besides, I have an HD Quick Release **** on my seat and it only takes seconds to get the seat off.
As far as the corosion goes, I took the cap off an old 16MB flash drive that I had and it protects the USB connector.
That's with my 06 Lowrider. My dad's 06 Heritage was a different story. The PCIII for his bike comes with an aftermarket tray which is swapped out for the stock tray. Then there's the velcro tape to hold the PCIII on, and his seat is a B*tch to get on and off.
PS He Liked my V&H so much that he went with the shortshots staggered. Looks & sounds great.
ANYONE HAVE A MAP IN THEIRS THAT THEY LIKE? MINE ALREADY HAD THE STG 1 DOWNLOAD WHEN I STUFFED IN THE PC III. I TRIED RUNNING THE M811-006, BUT ITS FOR A WEIRD 8 DEGREE TO 25 DEGREE INJECTOR CALIBRATION. IM USING THE MAP FOR THE THUNDERHEADER AND STG 1 A/C M811-002 NOW, AND IT LIKES IT, BUT I THINK ITS STILL A BIT LEAN.
