I bought a set of used HD ones off Craigslist. But it wasn't to keep the heat off. I used the left side piece to mount my controller and plugs for my heated gear. I guess now that it is getting warmer I may try installing the other half.
I kind of like the Captain Itch product as it seems it would be easier to clean around. Pollen and bugs are a pain this time of year.

I will tell you that I personally have taken many of the Kuryakyn shields off of bikes to install our product as the plastic ones were usually broken or simply did not work as well as the rider had liked..
