Pulling the trigger on a PM 6-piston front caliper. I already have braided brake lines and know that I need to upgrade to the 11/16 master cylinder.
Question, how difficult is the install? Yes, I am comfortable working on my bike but I've never bled/installed brakes before and I'm worried that this is one of those areas that you NEVER want to mess up or install incorrectly...is this one of those times that it's just safer to have my indie install, or could I do it myself with careful planning and execution? Thanks!
Bleeding brakes is not a huge deal. If you have a friend who has done it before ask them for a hand.
Heck if you mess it up you will still have your rear brake! Just kidding. You will be fine.
