Bike hasnt been serviced, aside from 3 oil changes, since its 25K service.
WTF I hear you say, For crying out loud i hear you cry!!
Truth is, no $$$ for the shop to do it and no shop of my own to do it myself, but things have changed, there is light at the end of my tunnel and, the sun is finally shining on me, for how long is anyone's guess, but I'll service my bike while i can, dagnabit!!
The bike is actually running quite nice, but I am expecting a little bit of ugliness when i open things up, so apart from the "normal" filters various, plugs and tweaks/adjustments one would normally perform, what other parts could I expect to need??
Tensioner perhaps??
any and all input gratefully received.
oh, and can anyone recommend a good parts source in cleveland, aside from the MOCO dealer? Ill be there (specifically, Lorain) for a week and will go shopping so I dont get butt raped here by the dealers..
I don't buy the crap about not having a shop. I somehow managed to regularly change oil on bikes when I lived in apartments. Isn't there a parking lot in front?
I'd suggest you buy a good synthetic oil if you're going to continue to abuse your engine. And I hope I never buy a used bike that you've owned.
@Racqueteer9, nope, no parking lot. The 3 oil changes I have managed to do were on the footpath. Last one got me hauled over the coals by the cops
He doesn't park his Harley... ever. He just keeps on riding lol.
This guy reminds me of the people you see waiting at the bus stop with $120 ugly *** B-Ball shoes, their favorite expensive *** sports jersey, and the newest $600 phone in their hand. I'm guessing he failed economics class in High School...
