So I have a Frankenstein of a Fat Bob like most. Wide glide rear fender and a street bob solo seat. Just wondering if HD's passenger pillion 51404-10 would fit this set up?? It says it will fit those two bikes in the fitment guide but just wanted to hear from those with experience. Thanks
When I first got my Street Bob, I ignored my plan to buy the mustang seat and mustang pillion from the beginning because it was easier to get the Harley one right away. My girlfriend at the time hated to feel of it and complained it was too hard to ride any amount of time.
I bought the mustang pillion and she loved it. I sold the Harley pillion to a member on the forum for a few bucks, just to try to recoup some of the cost of buying twice.
Your situation might be different, but I regret not buying the right one the first time and saving some money.

I had that on my fatbob same as your with the wide glide fender. I didn't have a street bob seat I had a c&c seat. It wouldn't work with the bolt your supposed to use. I made my own with a threaded bolt a couple of nuts and washers. I still use that same bolt on my wide glide. It's a pita with the HD bolt.
Cool, thanks for the info. I did look at Mustang seats but couldn't justify the cost for as often as she's gonna ride. I also wanted a seat that had a bit more cushion than the solos I was into from Mustang. From what I gather the pillion will probably fit??
