Anyone with the Rifle Roadster fairing found a better way to mount it? I find the two little arms a bit weak, they don't hold it in the right position either.
Has anybody modified Harley quick release clamps to work with a Memphis Shades fairing?
I have a 2014 FXDB with Memphis Shades Road Warrior Fairing. I hate the Memphis Shades quick release system. I would much prefer to take everything off the bike without leaving the ugly clamps on the forks. Wondering if anybody has used spacers, different bolts, etc. to modify either the HD clamps or the MS brackets to work together.

Thanks!
I have a MS Batwing. To do this, I made my own template to remake the MS brackets (without any of the notches or cuts and extra material so they could be bent and trimmed to fit my 15 FXDF). Then I had new ones cut from aircraft aluminum. We bent and cut the brackets to line up the HD Quick Disconnect Clamps (one locking; three non-locking). Finally I had the clamps and brackets powdercoated. Approx 70,000 km (45,000 mi) and they work perfectly...lockable; off/on in a couple minutes; and clean forks when no fairing. Note: I had my headlamps and upper fork sliders powdercoated so putting the fairing on takes a bit longer (put a hand towel over the lamps and go slowly to avoid gouging or marring them).
Cheers,
Harm.

Question for you guys that converted to bottom mount headlights: how large is the hole in the lower triple tree and how far back from the front edge did you drill? I think I may add a t-sport style fairing (not sure which at this point) and swap to a bottom mount headlight on my 99 DX, and am tearing apart the front end this winter for powder coat. Figured I could drill the hole necessary before powder so I could chamfer the edge and make it look nice until I figured out a fairing.
I bought this fairing back when I had my first Dyna. No clue what brand it is, There are no markings in it and its fiberglass. Hoping someone here has seen this before and has some info. I plan to install it on my Fat Bob.

Rifle Roadster fairing on a street bob, the brackets they supply are terrible, made my own using 3/4" flat bar just bent and painted. Used some amazon 49mm turn signal clamps to mount Rifle uses the pinch bolt clamps to secure and not a fan of that. Got the fairing off kijiji and ordered a 18" shield from rifle, which took about 10 weeks to get. Really not the best to deal with. But looks good. Used all last summer and not a ton of buffeting, hoping it's less now with the new orientation it's set at. Pic of old bracket included 3/4" flat bar just bent to fit
