I want to get it lower in the rear. Can't use the lowering bracket for the shock because I made upsweeps and it will hit bracket. I made the out of Samson sidewinders with 11 3/4 mufflers.

I did some research there is no way to mount the shocks on bottom because of transmision. I wanted to make the bike lower in the back without rear wheel bottoming out.

Which is why I would buy some shorter shocks if I wanted to lower the rear of my bike. I did want to lower the rear so I bought some 12" shocks and it has never bottomed out. Plenty of people on here have done this and yes it works. Unless I am not understanding your post. You want to put a softail swing arm on your dyna to lower the rear of the bike. While anything can be done with enough money you would be better off selling your dyna and buying a softail. If you just want the rear end lowered buy some shorter shocks like everyone else does.
