Finally installed my new floorboards

I got around to installing my Harley floorboard kit today and it was quite a bit more of a task then I had anticipated. I knew they would fit my Street Bob and I already upgraded to forwards so there was no worry about the shifter linkage, my issue came with my exhaust. I didn't realize there was going to be fitment issues with my V&H Short Shots, but there was. Luckily it was only with the heat shield and I was able to trim it to get it around the bracket. I also put a couple of washers behind the bracket to help space it away from the exhaust. So finally after an hour or so of trimming, grinding and test fitting I got it together. Took it for a ride and I love the comfort, the extra support and flexibility they offer. Btw, my forwards and posted in the classifieds

i want to get floor boards but I don't think they will fit because I have a V&H Big radius 2 into 1, I wonder if I could do what you did? Nice job.
