I'm having a really hard time figuring this all out. Does anyone know what ratio or how much lower then stock I would be with a 25/56 setup? I'm looking for more low end (wheelies) but would still like to cruise at 80 comfortably and I do not want to run a 24t.. I was going to go 25/60 but bungking makes the only 60t I can find and I don't know if I like how the sprocket fits a 520 chain .. what's my solution guys ? I run 13.5 shocks worried about the clearance

25/56 would put you at 2.24. I ran 30/66 when still on the belt which is 2.2. 80mph put me around 33-3400 rpms if I recall. So probably 34-3500 with 25/56

thank you monster, sounds like that's where I want to be. I don't want to run much much higher then that for rpms at 80
yeah I was just looking at the steel sprockets but I guess I could use aluminum I mean sportbikes use aluminum and there putting out way more horse power I believe

Been running aluminum rear spokes for years, no issues with big HP.
Key is keep chain properly lubed, and that both sprockets are nice and straight.

Not running even close to pwmorris power but I am also running an aluminum rear sprocket and have noticed 0 wear. Suppose to be easier on the chain from what I read. Like he said, keep it lubed and even more important, make sure your alignment is true

sold! Going to be ordering everything in the next 2weeks just waiting on some cash .. I've always measured center axle to the pin holes in the swingarm. Use a wire hanger with a 90 and a piece of shrink wrap to slide up and down .. as far as spacing I've read multiple post that said 7/8 spacer for the newer bikes. Think all my research is done just have to do it now .. glad I researched it so long because I kept changing my mind and picking new parts.. monster does your chain lay on the slider when your in neutral?
