I'm feeling these are top shelf parts for a conversion, we will see.
Thus = $443.30 shipped......... without rear sprocket bolts.
The vendor supplied "kits" available out there really aren't bad price wise when you look at the cost to put a kit together yourself, but in the interest of helping folks on this forum decide on how to do this job yourself, I went it alone and built a kit from many individual parts.
If I would have selected a lesser grade or name brand chain (i.e. Drag Specialties O-ring 530 @ 9500lbs Tensile) I could have saved $50.00 or so. FYI
I will await these parts to arrive and then fit them up. Once installed I will select the proper ARP 12point Grade 8 bolts to secure the pulley and spacer to the rear wheel hub, based on install thickness of the rear sprocket drive assembly.
More to come.

Upside to chains are reliability IF and this is a biggy you do the regular maintenance, lubing and adjustments, you can snap one under hard use I have thrown a couple over the years if you ignore them.
Downsides there are a few vibration and new noises are 2 and constant cleaning that rear wheel if you are keeping the chain lubed properly.
Last is DO NOT cheap out on the quality of the parts like sprockets and the chain in particular , The cheaper sprockets will wear faster and I've found more than not are not perfectly round so you can adjust the chain roll the wheel 180 and it'll be loose and this will add vibration and beat hell out the chain too.
High end o-ring chain only I ran Tsubaki and got good life & wear out them, standard chains can go bad in under 5000 miles and eat those pricey sprockets. Since I went belt a number of years ago I'm sure chain tech has come a long way with the influx of the rocket bikes out there now , be curious to get some feed back on new brands and performance of chains out today.
The reason I went with the PBI 2073SX is that I wanted a sprocket that was clearly stamped with its manufacture information on it, (and from a well established company ) so that in the future if I or a subsequent owner of the motorcycle needed to obtain a new rear (or front) sprocket the part number would be etched directly on the part for easy reference.
Did you order from Dynamic Dyna? If you did, please check out each part your receive to make sure it's the right one. When I did my chain conversion, I order three parts from Dynamic Dyna (PBI rear sprocket, PBI front sprocket, and EK chain). Even through I ordered by phone and very clearly stated the year of my bike, etc., when the parts finally arrived (and I emphasize FINALLY because it took forever), all three parts were the WRONG part!! On top of that, he was not interested in correcting the problems, and he has not compensated me for my extra costs related to fixing his mistakes.
Best of luck to you, and please double check what you receive.

If I have to return the rear spacer to Vulcan than so be it, as that is part of what this thread is about, to get real information on doing a belt drive kit for others, as everyone seems to be cryptic regarding specs, especially on the rear spacer sizes.
Your setup uses a .875" which is great info and may well be the final product. If I do end up using a .875" I will defineately use an adapter rather than a spacer to preclude having long bolts holding the sprocket and spacer on the wheel hub.
Thanks to Mud for the great info!!!
