I am with Blue Angel. Just convert your Dyna to a touring model like I did. Still handles like a dyna just has a lot more storage and my better half loves to ride with me.
I get the touring bikes, there are people that like the softer, quieter, more comfortable ride with all the gadgets.. it's luxury vs sport, that's all.
I've had two Road Kings and a Street Glide. Do I miss them? Nope. Between working my tail off and raising a child I don't have a lot of riding time. I like going out for short and fast rides when I can and the Dyna excels at that. I would have no problem going on a multi day trip either.
I'm 57 years old, 6'3", been riding for 40 years, and I've owned 13 motorcycles... and I get this all the time: "you're a big guy, why don't you get a bagger?"
Because my Super Glide is the perfect motorcycle. For me, anyway. Fits me like a glove, handles better than people think, and I love the way it looks.
People are so "bagger crazy" these days that they just don't get it....
I've ridden a Heritage and my friend's RG, and nothing comes close to my WG.
It closely resembles the feeling I had when riding my rigid Panhead in handling and nimbleness.
I've got it where I want it and will fix what breaks and that will be my only modifications.

58 and 6' 1" and I get the same crap from some of my geezer glide buddies. One went so far as to say, "Once you get a stereo, you won't go back." WTF! My cage has all the stereo I need thank you very much! If Harley still made my FXD, I would buy it again.
I love the "But then you could have a stereo" comments from people telling me I should get a bagger. I rarely listen to the stereo in my vehicle so why would I want one on my motorcycle?
My reason(ing) to keep a Dyna over any other is, it's the easiest to work on.
No need to remove a buttload of things just to get to (for example) the starter, or anything else. I can take the starter off my Dyna without having to remove anything else.
No fairings or other plastic/fiberglass stuff in the way or to take off and hope it doesn't get scratched.
Easy to work on is an absolute for me and it would still be even if I wasn't disabled. On the side of the road with 20 pieces of 'stuff' removed from the bike just to get to a simple thing is nothing but a PITA and a nightmare I don't want to ever have to go through.
