Default torque spec for three hole

I cannot seem to find my '12 FXDB book to look up the torque spec for the three holes for fluid change and also the torque spec for the 6 screws that hold the primary (is this called the primary damn I forgot.) Someone have the spec they can post.

JMO, but don't "torque spec" these service points as this is when you run a chance to strip or damage threads/heads. When working these bolts...I go by "feel" and then you lessen the chance of starting a new " I Stripped my Fill/Derby Bolt" thread...

Iceman,

Yeah I do that way with my vehicles. But I did use the torque spec for my harley as if something comes lose on the road I'd be run over lol. Worse case is I was gonna go by feel but I also like to know how my feel is corresonding to the book spec.

Justfill. The bottom 3 go metal to metal since since the oil ring seals in the taper. So go up snug and bump the 3/8 ratchet with a little bump tug. The small screws in the derby cover are usually squeezing a gasket. Just use a had torix or if a 1/4 drive ratchet, put the extension between your fingers. Remember to crisscross. I go real easy on these. I recheck after a ride on those small ones and it is hot. The book is 84-108 in-lbs Bottom plugs are 14-21 ft-lbs
