Had the Gunfighter on a '94 Sportster & loved it. Firm, yes, but comfortable.
I have the C&C Sport Tour on my '02 FXD & love it. Not quite as firm as I remember the Corbin, but very supportive & comfortable. Damned good lookin, too. Plus, you can get 'em done up custom for what a Corbin will run you. And... last I heard Corbin's customer service is worthless. Had a hiccup with the sissybar pad that C&C re-covered to match my seat. Called 'em up & had a return shipping label in my inbox before we got off the phone.
Don't be scared off by the hardness. Corbin uses very dense foam. It provides great support over a long day's ride. Soft foam will crush down to a point where it feels like you're sitting on the metal baseplate. I had a Corbin seat on my Sportster that I could ride all day long on, stopping every 160 miles or so for gas.
