Default Corbin Gunfighter

Hey all looking at getting the Corbin Gunfighter seat for my 2011 Wide Glide. I'm looking for something that provides better comfort/support over longer rides. I have a 2500ish mi trip in about a month so I have some time. Had looked at the le pera sorrento. Any comments for or against the corbin?

I had one on a fatboy. Hard as hell. Looked great, but really thought it sucked for comfort.

Thanks for the heads up. Last thing I want to do it drop a few hundred dollars on a seat and have it bruise my cheeks. Though I have seen good reviews on corbin seats. Basically I am debating between the Corbin Gunfighter, C&C Squareback, and Le Pera Sorrento. Im 5 10 and around 160. Not really looking to drop more than $500

Corbin seats you do have to break in. Hard at first (which was fine for me), but then they mold to you. Very comfortable after.

Thanks for the info. Still leaning towards the corbin. I may give them a call later this week. I have been playing with their seat designer.

If you do go with the Corbin make sure to pick every part of it. If you don't pick the stitching etc. they will have to do it for you and you may not get something you like. They can do a ton of customizing too.

I've only had one Corbin. I put it on my Sportster not long after I bought it. It was better than the stock seat but was always hard to me. Even after 6k miles I couldn't stand much more than an hour on it without a break.
My Mustang Wide isn't as cool as some seats but I can sit on it all day.

This while seat business makes me nervous. You buy a seat and v after a 1,000 mi is not working for you, your kinda screwed.

My bike had a Corbin 2up seat when I bought it and it rode like a frying pan at first. 6 years later it still rode like a frying pan. Tried a Corbin Hollywood solo and it had the same frying pan effect. Bought a Mustang Vintage solo and finally found out what all day riding comfort was.

I do have the Corbin Touring. Maybe that's the difference...? Mine is super comfortable and my wife's is too.
