Default different spark plugs

i bought a 1979 fatbob a month ago and the guy i bought it from told me the former owner said he ran a RN14YC in the front and a RJ18YC plug in the rear for some kind of performance reason. anyone ever heard of this? or what the deal might be?
thanks

Default RE: different spark plugs

The only difference is the front plug is colder running than the rear. These type of plugs fit a Chrysler product, in the automotive area.
