Has anyone tried platinum or silver spark plugs in their late model bikes with any improvement in driveability? I have a very slight pop on deceleration but I don'd believe it is due to lean running. I had the same problem on another fuel injected bike thatwas solved by switching to platinum plugs. Just wondering.
Just a question not steeling the thread, out here in the west there is a company that
sells a plug that is called a frozen plug. its supposed to give you a 15 percent increase
in your gas miliage. Haven't bought off on that one yet. Guess the dip it in liquid nitrogen.
any opions.?

At the reccomendation of the local service manager I tried a set of the SE triple platinum splitfire type plugs. As for outright performance I could not tell anything different but it starts up quicker than before and after 2500 miles I pulled them and they look great.
Plugs do 1 thing and 1 thing only...spark. As EVO stated, nothing magical about basic or SE plugs that cost $10 more. As long as the plug your using (whatever brand) is of the correct heat range and size (depth into the hole), your OK.
Been running triple platinum for about 3000 miles. Runs great, good mileage, good starts. Works for me. It is all a matter of opinion. This is mine. I like them.
