I'm about to order some rocker box covers in black. I have seen them all black like the night train and now im starting to see them with the black uppers and factory polished lowers. What do you guys think? I'm torn and can't decide. I like it both ways.

I think the fins alone provide enough shiny eye candy. I like Black/Black. Less polishing required, and like Wasp said, more evil.

Question to anyone who has already done this:

If you only do the TOPS, what else is required (gaskets, etc)?

THANKS!

Yeah, i'm still torn. The black on black looks good but requires alot more work to install. The back and polished look good also and would be easier to do and also about $100 less if i went that route. Im still deciding. Here are the part numbers. 17620-99 for the uppers and 17618-99 for the lowers.

Looks like just the gaskets. Both tops and gaskets - $150. Tops, bottoms, and gaskets - $310
