I'm really close to doing this on a HD1 customization Street Bob. The color is the Cancun Blue hard candy color. I think what I really like with this paint job is the tank graphic. I'm guessing this color won't appeal to some but it really looks good in person.
I'm hoping to take some 1000+mile round troops on this thing which seems possible worth a different seat. I want to keep a lighter bike, touring ones are great but I don't want all the weight...or cost
Looks awesome. I have the hard candy Big Red Flake and love it. I saw when they came out with the Cancun Blue but the pictures on the HD website didn't do it justice. I was wondering what it would like - looks great.
Here's my current bike, not sure why it didn't show up in my original post. It'd be quite a change but I've been away from Harley for almost 5 years. I think it's time to come back.
Yeah I agree with the others....Kandy paint needs to be seen in person. I'm digging the graphic on the tank too! Seat is easy to do. You could even keep your stock saddle so you can throw on the touring seat before trips.
I say do it....
Yeah, seat replacement sounds like a necessity regardless of what I do unless I only ride short rides. I like 200 mile days so I'll definitely replace it. May go C&C, I had that on a Road Glide and it was great! And they have great service.
