Front Electrical Caddy
Long story short I had to remove my voltage regulator so I could stab my oil filter with a screwdriver as I assume the last owner decided it would be a good idea to wrench on the nut on the K&N oil filter. Well during that removal I had to take the "front electrical caddy". Its the plastic thing thats behind it that holds a couple of wires. I can't seem to get the plastic part to stay on the bike when I put the regulator back on. The regulator pushes out the plastic caddy. Anyone have a trick to get 2 things to take up the same place or am I missing something here? Bike is a 09 FXD (Super Glide)

I struggled with that darn plastic thing too,
If I remember correctly, I just kept the clips in position and carefully started the regulator bolts into place,, once it was tightened down the plastic thing stayed in place.
