The Rocket Harley in Huntsville, AL. didn't fix it. They called me after two days and said come get it they had fixed it. They took of my XIEDs (because they didn't know what they were) and thought they fixed it. Well, they didn't. It's doing the very same thing. I'm taking it to Boswells in Cool Springs about 100 miles away and I feel confident they will fix it.
man rocket seems to always brag about the fact that they have 4 or 5 "master" tech's working in their service dept. but they never seem to know much. they were all freaked out when I pulled the chrome covers off the heavy breather intake to let the crankcase vent to atmosphere.... you could also head up to Columbia HD just below Nashville.
You have never been so spot on about Rocket Harley. I am so glad that it is not just me that noticed the EXACT same thing. Do you know how to find the fault codes on a 2012, because it doesn't have an odometer reset button?
I went all the way to Franklin, TN. and while we were talking about my bike, it cooled down, so it didn't do the trouble it does because he would only ride it for about 2 minutes. I had to ride it back in that heat wave, nearly got killed because I was running red lights because it would go dead. Man I'm dead tired and it still needs fixing.
