Keep your mids but add highway mounts in the fwd position so you can vary leg position on longer rides.
I'm 5'9" with a 31in inseam and this the setup I run and I love it!
I feel so much more in control of the bike on aggressive rides and in the twisties, with the mids. But I still have the comfort on stretching out on longer rides and straight roads.

Same measurements, same enjoyment of twisties with mids.
Thanks for all the input guys. Just was second guessing going to forwards. But im sold putting them on this week. I think im gona go with the reduced reach tho.
You probably won't need the reduced reach ones - I am 5'8" and the standard forward controls are just fine for me.
I was a bit wary about the forwards when I bought the bike, but after the first hour or so I loved them and they have become second nature. Wouldn't want to go to mids now.
I'm 6ft tall, 32in inseam. I have mid controls. I mounted highway pegs using this http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/Stea...DK-SHP-BLK.htm in the forward control spot. Its nice to have 2 different places to put my feet. I also switched out the stock pegs for these http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...-with-end-caps and it made a world of difference. Before the longer pegs my hips would cramp. The only downside to the longer pegs is it is easier to drag them in turns and curves. Should you decide to try longer pegs first order from Kutter Harley to save even a few more bucks.
My $0.02. The further reach mids aren't much of a difference from the mids. I installed the left hand side and left the right stock. Put my feet on the pegs, closed my eyes...couldn't tell a difference. But I'm 6' w 34" inseam- maybe a shorter person would notice the difference. But for $320 from HD it's not worth it. You can find take offs from a new low rider though for cheaper if you did want the further reach mids.

I totally agree with you !!!
We wanted to install reduced reached forward control but the dealership told us we must buy the forward control first then buy the reduced reached forward control wtf that's a freaking rip off right there !!!!

I'm looking at DK's highway pegs myself. Priced better than the HD's for certain.
I have a 15 Low Rider and love the miss and highway peg combination. I was going to go with forwards but like the mids too much. On the freeway it makes all the difference in the works to be able to switch back and forth to move around. save the money and buy highway pegs.
I've had bikes with only mids, mids & forward pegs, forwards and now the LR Mids++.
For me the mids and forward pegs are the best situation you can have. I do like the location of the pegs on my new LR. I call them mids++. More comfortable for longer rides and still have mid controlability. Long term though I plan to install forward pegs for the long trips. Anytime you can change position of your legs is a good thing.
