I have the stock grips on my 09 fatbob and they are ok, but I used to have a set of chinese knock off ISO's on my old bike and loved them. Is there anyone that can speak to if the kinetics are just as nice as the ISOs?
Not trying to sidetrack the thread but did you have any problems with the knock offs? Did you get them off Ebay, the ones that are about $20 I think? Reason I ask is I've got legit Iso's on mine, but my wife wanted some & I saw those on Ebay and wondered.
I couldn't tell the difference. Mine came with stelleto caps though that I had to trade a forum member for regular caps (different forum). This was about 3 years ago though. And yeah they were super cheap.
Have just installed the Kinetics on my 2014 SB. I really love them and they feel grat. Have had the ISO's before. Both are really great grips. Like the Kinetics best though, both looks and feel.
I have had both. Running kenetic now. Like both but kenrtic has a better feel. ISO were a tad on the soft side.
The GF has the ISO on her Dyna and I run the kenetics on my WG with 10" Ts. Very nice grip and they are about a medium rubber so not too soft or hard. I like them a lot more than the ISO. For long rides get the cramp buster though.

You got the throttle boss too? I haven't had any issues yet but don't really grab the grips per say just rest my hands and use the throttle boss a lot on hwy. I also always wear riding gloves.
Never had Iso's but I've got Kinetics on my Breakout. I really like them. As others have said it's a medium rubber. Not too hard or too soft. I also have the matching throttle boss and like it too.
great to hear. I had the boss on my ISO's and liked it - the rubber was a little spongy for me. Glad to hear the kinetics are a bit more firm. I did order the boss right away too. Should be here soon.
