Fat Bob ape hangers/risers question.
So I want to go to ape/mini apes and have some questions about size - specifically, the bar height/riser combination. Talking to a friend of mine who owns a shop, he suggested staying around 12" on the bars. Anyone else make this switch who can provide input on what they did? I'm looking at either santee bonanza fats or Rolling Sand bars (or Road 6 customs, but I think I prefer the 1 1/4" bars vs the 1"). Right now I have 6" Chubby Wild 1s and am looking to get a little further back and a little higher.

I'm 5' 10" tall and put 14s (with a 2" riser) on my Fat Bob. I couldn't be any happier. The bars I went with were the R6C 14" Holey Rollers. I paid the extra for the 1 1/4" bars which look perfect for the bike.

My solution ( keeping the drag bar theme it came with) was 1.5 joker risers and 4 inch drag bars.This way I'm able to put the bars where I like. Now the forwards arnt so forward.A seat swap helped also.

Yup, you have about what I'm looking for. What brand risers did you use - of did you use the stock?
