Well crap... The third picture is a good example of what I'm talking about. You can see in that picture that the bolts aren't centered in the bores. That's not how it is now. Maybe I'll pull the damn thing back off to check it. It'd be a good time to do the chain conversion and billet basket also..... Soft you still haven't put your baker comp on?!
Correct, all "o" marks need to be lined up....the hub/pressure plate splines are unfortunately not symmetrical...it will assemble and operate...but not work smoothly.
I'm only seeing 2 total "o" marks, 1 for the hub and 1 for the pressure plate - is there any more? Thanks.

Not yet. Got the Diamond primary chain and all the parts sitting on my desk. Been too busy and havnt been riding much either. My IPB is driping so I need to get on it. After the last 3 years of wrenching on this bike im kinda over working on it. The 124" has been running great though.
I don't think those are for the sportsman clutch. Did you finally bite the bullet and buy a bandit?
Yes, got it on my desk at home - still all wrapped up and purty! Have the Baker comp and a new 1 1/8" S&S/Gates belt ready to go too. I - just like you, have an extremely itchy trigger finger for the Evolution 1006-4091 clutch hub!
I enjoy wrenching on my bike tooooo much to do this work with 100 degree temperatures, so planning for ~ October.

If you can when you get home, unpackage the Sportsman and snap two pics of the alignment dots on each part and post them up. Then we can put this topic to bed.

I get back home late tomorrow night, should be able to post up on Wednesday morning - sounds good.
