Default 4" risers with a 1" pullback.

Hello I have a 2005 Super Glide want to install 4" riser that have a 1" pullback using stock bars. Does anyone know if this will require cable extensions.

I doubt you'll need to change anything. I went from 4" riser to 8" riser on my '04 and only needed to increase brake line length.

Installed similar risers, retaining the stock bars, on my '11 FXDC, with no changes needed. No problems after over a year of use. tp

Hey Dirtdreamer, if you could.. would it be possible for you to post up some pictures of your set up? Do you like the position a lot more afforded by the change now? I am considering a similar mod and was just curious.

These are the risers I am using. Inexpensive, but still quality. Using stock bars, but rolled down in a more Buckhorn style. Easier on my traps and shoulders.

Excuse the messy garage. Son and his fiancee just moved in, and they brought everything they owned...

Did have to remove the brake line from the retaining loop, on the lower tree, but no problems with binding, etc. tp

SWEET... I was hoping that they would appear thus and would look (and most likely function) very nicely. Thanks for the pics DD.. you've just help me make up my mind.
