If removable bags are the only issue you could add Ghost Brackets to some side bags/cans and make removable luggage on your SG.

Thought about that too, but we have a guy in the neighborhood that has a fatboy lo, and everytime my soon to be wife see's that bike, she eggs me on about how much she likes it. so when I said I was thinking about trading mine in she suggested the fatboy lo. Couldn't believe that she told me that the FB looks so mean, looks like something Batman would ride, lol. Although when I showed her the switchback in blue pearl, she liked it too. So I'm gonna do some test riding. On my SG, she doesn't like the fact that when she sits on it that we're at the same height, she wants to have her head above mine to see more. The fatboy would do that. You know the old saying, If momma ain't happy no one else is happy.
