I have a 2002 fxd and one night...dead battery...so checked everything out found out I needed to replace the stator.ok no biggie..well I don't have a service manual and the lovely dealership doesn't stock one and I need to get the clutch basket off as to get the compensator sprocket off with the primary chain as a unit. Do I have to completley disassemble the clutch to get it off or can I simply pull the push rod adjustment nut out and take the snap ring off and loosen the hub nut from the trans shaft???
I'm a diesel and hydraulic mechanic for a living and built a few bikes for myself so im not a complete new just a twin cam new. Any info would greatly be appreciated
