Did you add an on/off switch, are wired them to a hot when turned on wire location.
Since I'm also adding a 5.75 led headlight and bucket, I just might wire them all together.
Sorry for the late reply...I just tapped into the wire under the seat. There is a plug you can buy to use the wire but the lights come with a wire tap so I went with that.

I just went ahead and purchased the Kuryakyn Handlebar mounted switch with fused power wires straight to the battery. Never can be to safe.
What I meant was a "touring" bike. You can tour on anything you want, but that doesn't make it a touring bike. No matter how much money you dump into it, it will never be as capable as the bikes that you are emulating. The Road King, Road Glide, Street Glide, and Electra Glide.
Maybe that bracket will work. Good thing about metal is that you can make it do whatever you want it to...
"never be as capable" what exactly are you refering to?
Stewbreezer, I swapped over to the Fat Bob trees and used some Kuryakyn sig relocation mounts to mount a softail passing light bar to my bike. The pics below are of it being fit tested.

Heck of an adaptation blueangle... I have a pair of the Kury 3" fork mounts that I was going to use... but I really like the look of the wider, more nostalgic look of the softail bar/lamps.
... but I may just have to do this one on mine as well.
