2005 Super Glide
38 psi on back 1-up
40 psi on back 2-up

30 psi on front.

If I am going to fudge, it will be running a pound or 2 psi heavier.

Yep. 40 all around. I drop pressure in the back a little when we are goofing around.

I guarantee you are wearing a strip straight down the middle of your front tire. (even with the dual rubber compound)

Is there a reason you run the front at 40 psi?

Interestingly enough, Im wearing a strip down the middle of the back one! Ive only got about 7k on the front though, so maybe the worst is yet to come? Im fairly certain that the tire says 40 psi on it...

Uhhh.. just so you know...
The pressure listed on the tire is the maximum loaded pressure for the tire.
Not the recommended usage pressure.

Right. I always run at max pressure in everything I own unless a specific situation suggests otherwise.

This is true. I've never really seen this number as the one you want to run.

Jones did you get your #'s from Michelin's website?
