Round red light next to speedo needle??

Round red light next to speedo needle??
I looked in the manual and it says it is an "electronics light" and comes on when the alarm is armed or something. I have no security system on my bike.
It is just a red dot close to the bottom of the speedo needle area. It came on last night while riding.
My bike is a 2015 Low Rider.
Anyone without an alarm ever had theirs come on??
