I haven't found the sweet spot with the adjustment on
the Progressive 440 shock. Called yesterday and the Tech
said I can turn the shock loose all the way to the top and then
1 full turn in other direction starts to stiffen it up. I took it to the top and turned 1 turn to see how that feels and then will turn 1 full turn each time till I get the ride I want. I am 210 lbs. Anyone else have that shock about my weight that rides with no passenger please let me know where you are at with the adjustment. I had it tightened down till I could see 2 threads and it was too stiff.
I weight 180lbs and have mine pretty much at the loose end so I can't see any threads. Maybe 1 turn in from end although I never went that far with adjustment, just kept loosening them until they felt right. Now I'm pretty satisfied with them. Are you sure yours are standard duty and not heavy duty model?
