full fender on a wide glide?

Default full fender on a wide glide?
will a 06 fxd superglide fender fit a wide glide? Of the same year

You talking about the front or rear fender? Rear fender- probably (not sure but they are basically the same bike from the steering neck back). Front fender- No. Different width of the forks wont allow it

Pretty sure the fender struts on a Wide Glide are further apart than the Super Glide in the rear.

thought I answered this yesterday with a simple one word YES it fits , no the fender struts are not wider on wide glide .

Again, I could be wrong, but I think the '06 and newer Wide Glides are different. '05 and older might have been the same.

06 to 09 fxd and fxdwg rear fenders are same width , tried to post link to jp cycle but sites down so I posted to ebay

go reread the thread you linked its a 2011 superglide and a fatbob fender . the ebayer sent wrong fender

After more research to prevent the spread of misinformation---I've come up with some conflicting info, but I think the '10 and newer Wide Glides and Fat Bobs do in fact have wider struts (by 3/4"), but the '06-'08 Wide Glides are the same as the regular Dynas. I guess I assumed that the '10 frame was the same as the older frame, and I also assumed the '06-'08 Wide Glide rear fender was the same as the Fat Bob fender.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

all I know is I painted a wideglide fender for a friend to match his 2007 super glide and it bolted right on
