final exhaust question
alright guys, this is my final question before i buy my short shots for my bobber.....some one said here if i just bolt on the exhaust on and dont touch the air cleaner i would be alright. with out the puel pak or power commander....is this true??? thanks guys

I did my first 1000 miles like this ... but it did pop a lot on decel. I'd suggest getting an aircleaner and EFI pack of some description but you can run it OK without ... it runs noticeably better with them. Mat

I also have about 750 mile on just a pipe change pops on decel but not all the time.
Of course I have now bit the bullet and am going with a full stage 1 upgrade. That will require some fuel management!

That's how i roll. I got the short shots on right now w/out air cleaner efi upgrade. I will wait for about a week or so, but getting back to your question it runs fine right now.

Have any popping problems Theeboy? I'm really chomping at the bit to do the shortshots myself but don't want to end up with the same issue I got with my slips. It would be nice to richen her up a little bit to, hence the Thundermax.
