Did I get a good deal?
Local shop had a VIP night me and the wife attended. Among other things, they had %15 off parts. I noticed the speedo/tach that normally goes for around $315 had a sale sticker on it. After some negotiation I ended up getting it for $225. It's part number 70900070B and should fit my 09 fat Bob. But the newer speedo that doesn't fit my 09 sells for like $270. Anyone know why the newer one is cheaper and did I really get that great of a deal or is the one I bought discontinued and anyone would have likely been able to get it that cheap?

Yes - I just scared myself thinking that I accidently bought the kM/hr one - but it appears to be MPH....but I cant tell the difference between the A and B model. Can someone point out the difference?

Just so you know, there are at least 3 online HD dealers from which you can almost any part from the catalog for a 20% discount... I won't mention them here, but a brief Forum search will pull them up for you. Amazing to me that most local dealers want to charge full pop-isn't 20% off better than not making a sale at all?

One would think. For $225 I got more than 20% off. But the other local dealer makes it seem like they are doing me a crazy favor when they give you 20%. The place we got the wife's street bob gave 20% off after we made the purchase. I made sure I got better than 20% on some things and basically if things weren't nailed down I left with it.
