Back in September I traded my 2014 Street Glide in on a 2014 Low Rider. It was new, had never been sold and they made me a deal on it. The Street Glide was a great bike, but I had found myself missing the 2001 Low Rider I had sold. Thought I'd share a few pictures of my first mods. I changed out the handlebars to a set of 14" Wild 1 Psycho Street Fighters, and replaced the top mount headlight with a black Street Bob one. I have a rifle fairing in the paint shop getting color matched to the bike that I'll be installing soon. Then I'll be saving for exhaust and a tuner.
Sorry about the crappy cell phone pics, I'll try to take some better ones later.
Thanks! I'm probably an odd ball for switching back to a Dyna. Most of the people I talk to that buy a Street Glide never look back. But, I found the Street Glide a little boring. I guess even at 41 I still have too much kid in me, and Dynas better suit my aggressive riding style.

One of my good friends had a dyna for a couple of years, then bought a badass Street Glide. He ended up riding that for a couple more years, then sold it for a dyna. The dyna now has a rifle fairing and bags on it. This is by far his favorite bike, I guess in the end you have to do what makes sense for you.
That's really good to know...sometimes I catch myself looking at the street glide
Yeah, I've "cheated" on my Fatbob a few times. Ridden a Street Glide, Fat Boy & Road Glide, but at the end of the day, when I go out to the garage and see my Dyna there, I think to myself "Hell yeah".
But... I could use a second bike in the stable for touring. But in the "I can only afford one bike game".
It's a dyna I'm picking
Having a Street Glide and a Dyna is awesome. That's where I was when I first bought the Street Glide. I still had my 01 Low Rider with 95" upgrade, cams, etc. I found that the new Street Glide sat in the shed a lot though while I was out ripping it up on the Dyna. It was just more fun to ride. Then my girlfriend got pregnant and I had to get a 'family car'. I owed too much on the Street Glide at the time to sell it, so it was the Dyna that had to go. I'm happy to now be back on a Dyna.
