i believe you'd have to replace the entire trans with an aftermarket one.
for that kind of money you could buy an entire shovelhead with original kicker.

hey that would be cool, i see where led sled was making kits for older sportsters and they were about a grand. there probably would`nt be enough demand to justify the cost.

Be cheaper to just kick that button on the right side of your handlebars. Sorry.......couldnt resist lol.

Baker makes a kicker kit for the six speed twin cams however the catch is that it has to be a carb model because you would have to kick damn fast and a lot to get it to work with the crank position sensor

I can't answer your question, but found this kit online. It might work out for you, and at $460+, doesn't seem like a horrible option.
