Default First post as a dyna owner

Hello everyone this is my first post. I want to put out a general thank you to all those who posted helpful information on this site. I am currently stationed in Baghdad and have been lurking on this site for a few months. I am home on leave right now and I just bought my 2007 Dyna Super Glide. I am proud to be a new Harley owner and I am looking forward to coming home in September and putting on some serious miles. Thanks again.

congrats on your new ride. Stay safe in Iraq so you can put a gazillion miles on that bad boy when you get back again.
And, thank you for your service!

Congrats on the new bike. Did you get it from the military buyers program while in Iraq? A lot of my buddies got their bikes that way while we were over there. Enjoy leave and make sure someone starts that baby up for you periodically while you are gone.

I looked into the Military program and compared prices and they actually start at over $1,000 over MSRP and my dealer sold me mine for $1,000 less than MSRP. I have a few other buddies in my unit that are doing the same thing I did. We are all staying away from the military program. It's a scam.

In my opinion, you should get a free Dyna for your service to our country. Thanks for protecting our freedom and enjoy your Dyna.
I'm kinda partial to them.
