Given that it is a Dyna and not a BMW R1200GS (or another make/model of similar performance), are Ricor emulators good enough? Or, are you paying an additional $800 - $900 to squeeze out that last 5% of performance?
I had racetech springs and emulators in my last two Dyna's, and while a big improvement, still lacking.
Adreani cartridges. Way less than Ohlins price, 20mm cartridges. I doubt lot of Dyna riders will notice difference. There are resellers in USA if hesitant to deal with European company. I run them for couple thousand miles - absolutely love em. Had Ricors & progressive springs before
Just spoke to Ohlins USA who said they would be available in the next month... I do see a part number for them now - FKS 205. I'm wondering if they are out in the EU already. I have an office in the UK - I may direct someone out there to make a few calls...
FKS 205 is specifically for 06-16 FXDWG. That part was available in March when I was talking with Ohlins USA.
Your post said "available in June or July" not March. Maybe you meant the part number.
Aren't the internals of the WG are the same as the rest of the Dynas? I doubt they are stupid enough to limit themselves to one particular model in a larger line.

I think he was saying the ones made for the WG were available in March. Ohlins could have done a couple of things to make it WG only.
First the WG fork is longer so they had to make the cartridge longer or at the very least have more travel. Since it's taken so long to get to the rest of the dyna line I think its a longer cartridge instead of just a longer damper rod.
Another thing they could have done is a change in the valve stack. Easy to see if I had both in my hands.
Either way last time we talked to Ohlins at the shop the stuff for the FXD non WG would be out sometime in June. That tells me that they are probably already on the boat at this moment.

Thanks for the clarification. It'll be great to see once they arrive. Looking forward to the initial reviews.
