Probably well over a month away and I probably won't be on the site much during that time, have to go help a family member further west for a few weeks, without the bike

Nice man, were you nervous when you hit the switch?! Glad you got to ride it a little before you have to park it. I'll be waiting for dyno results and a ride report! Good luck out west!

Looks and sounds great Suede. Sucks that you can't bring the bike out with you!

Thanks! I knew it would take off but was a little concerned over the front intake lifter during adjustment but figured I was good on it (fingers still crossed ).

Thanks! But I'm back on it now

Well took it out for it's second spin this afternoon, started an autotune session on the PV. Didn't ride very far, maybe 18 or so miles. Stopped, loaded that autotune session, wow, huge difference! Dang that PV is worth every penny!
The initial tune I got from FM was good for running it but that PV can work wonders and fast.
It had a bit of roughness to it and some good decel pop but that one quick AT cleared that up, running like a champ already, happy about that

So same drill for a while yet, not exceeding 4k and just 1-4 gears. I adjusted the clutch before I rode today and that was good but I think it will need another before I have it where I like it.

I installed the Vibra-Technics mount while I had the motor out and so far it feels smoother and I'd have to say considerably smoother than the stock piece, so, happy about that

Here's a pic from today, I had the lower rocker boxes PC and damn if that didn't just like all the sudden sweep that hole thing black, funny how a little thing like that can change it!

Anyway, some pics, bags are dusty, I forgot to wipe them off before I took off.

98 miles on the engine, changing the oil and filter, what came out was clear and I found no metal in the oil or the plug. Gonna run another load of the Gibbs break-in oil for some hundreds more.

Around a 55 mile ride yesterday, still not trying to really go over 4k but went on rides where I was in 5th at times, at times clipping right along, paved country farm roads with little to nil traffic , this things got some legs

So far (knock on wood) no hiccups, no leaks, no bad manners, nothing to cause concern (knock knock on wood).

Just smoother than it's ever been before and much more quicker

For those that don't know you can have your PV display up to 6 gauges of your choice, (unfortunately, Oil Pressure is not one of them) one I have is average mpg, so far on 98 miles I'm averaging over 51 mpg.

Bonus
