Found the problem, seems I bent one of the pins in the crank-sensor connection, straighened the pin, hit the start button and she started right up, I let it warm up, hopped on it to get some gas and a little 12 mile run
Runs like a champ although I need to adjust the clutch and thottle cables some but she's a little more spunkier than I remember, first ride since late October, sure felt nice

Break-in is taking it up to 4k fairly easy, not to hard on the hammer part, going up through the gears to 4th and letting engine decel bring it back down.

Now I have to walk away from it for 2-3 weeks

Oh well, I'm happy it's all good

There can't be too many better things than starting up a motor that you built yourself and hearing it run.

Having a kid is a close second though.

Thanks guys

Matt, pretty much no on heat cycles. I started it, let it warm up well, then took it out on the road. Nothing hard, just steady up to 4k or so through 4th gear.
I have a nice road just a block away that is a highway into the country with little traffic so I would just slide up to 4k in 4th and decel down some, down to 3rd just working it in like that, like kneeding clay.
